Over the last 2 years I have been the graphic designer for my University society,
the Christian Union. This has given me the unique opportunity to completeĀ a rebrand,
that means new logo, new typography, new imagery, new banners and socials,
new events and outreach opportunities. Clean visuals, bold type and a welcoming
feel is what I have been able to achieve.
Big Questions sessions are a monthly session that allows for
people to come and ask questions of their own to guest speakers
that come in and share their perspectives in the sessions.
I did a spin on Heinz baked beans, turning them into 'Jesus Baked Beans'.
Using the cultural jamming allowed information about the society to be
communicated in a new and innovative way. On the back was a brief description
of what we do and where you could find us. They were given out on the university's
freshers fair, which was a way to engage and make new students feel welcome.
Also, what student isn't going to take free beans?
